    The Caemlyn Road inside the city is a large boulevard, split
down the middle by strips of grass and trees. On each side of the
strips of vegetation are wide cobbled expanses, large enough for
several wagons to pass side by side. Side roads jut off here and
there, leading to other parts of the city. Buildings rise up on
either side of the road, imposing in their height and bustling
with activity. Here and there, unwalled markets are covered with
roofs gleaming in various colors, shining red and purple.
    The Caemlyn road continues to the east and northwest.
    A side road leads off to the southeast.

    You are outside one of the five gates of Caemlyn, with
a tower flanking either side. Part of the wall arches above
the gate, providing a little more stability than if the wall
wasn't there at all, but the gates still pose a weak spot in
Caemlyn's defenses. The gates themselves rise up for an
impressive thirty foot expanse of wood, opened and closed by
an elaborate system of pulleys.
The gates are wide open, as now isn't a time of war.
