I think the uproar over a moderator that they can only see as a 10 minute old character on the mud is reasonable.
Nobody's asking that the people moderating them must be level 20, or must be 200d old, or anything unreasonable -- it seems to me that people merely want to know that the moderators have some clue of the mud, of things that go on...that they're not some outsider with no sense of perspective.
At least, thats what I got from the complaints. *shrug*
he did not call the moderator nazis. he was talking about a character from a tv show that was called the librarian nazi. they also had the soup nazi. he was making a joke not an insult but you have to see seinfeld to know that i guess. watch some shows from it some time. it is very funny.
So its ok to flame and call people nazis as long its not 'just flaming.' Or I guess its ok to call the moderators nazis, but not call the people they're 'protecting' pussies. Thats all I meant by it anyway. But thanks for making it clear. Kind of.

But at any rate I don't see it as anything spetacular having someone applying our rules without being pestered on the mud, since he is just moderating and that is his job.
If you guys think he is being unfair mail him to try to talk, or mail Nicuramar if that doens't help. But please, think before you write, because all whining and mail flamming get's forwarded to the trash can here. Maturity people.

why would he get a warning for it? he can have his opinion and post it so long as it is not just flaming or posting mp info or for mp reasons or posting things that we do not want posted in public like secret guild names when the gm of that guild has asked to stay secret or members lists from guilds and things like that.
altho i think it is smarter to post things to talk about in the forums so the comments do not get all spammed up but ronan did that too and he got a reply there to his post.
if ronan wants to know why cahir's and ailin's comments were removed he can ask cahir and ailin. if a player gets any kind of punishment here i will leave it private unless they want to make it public because not everyone likes to have those things out in front of every one.
