Oh yeah before this I killed Laon too, but it scrolled. Laon log went: Stalk, attack, Laon breaks, can't get way because he can't fade, I hunt, he breaks, I find him again, I hunt, he dies.
*grin* Good point. Also, I think you should lose your came when you go from place to place... IE, camo-ing inside say Bywater and then going to Mirkwood. (or any forest) Different camo required? 'Your camouflage would just make you more noticeable here!' and it drops.
Even if looking or glancing doesn't reveal the figure, you'd think that you'd notice something when they left or entered a room, unless it's natural to see stumps/chairs/piles of leaves following somebody around.
What, exactly, did you disguise yourself as? A chair? Glorfindel? What a fucking retarded change.
Heh, yeah I guess removing fade had nothing to do with this kill being possible. Except, you know, Dalkar could've been faded fighting and then when he got low he just could've sauntered off to a healer and come back faded again!? Unless of course he got scratched and lost his fade or something cool like that.
Next time, get an innroom!
Probably could have broken him, had i been able to fade. Reason i didnt move from the sp was that i was telling Laon that i was as good as dead. :P (In response to Nagash.) No chance to get all the way to a break that -I- know would work under the new circumstances.
Well look revealed faded figures also. Plus while camoflauged now you can do alot of stuff without the target knowing you're there, its hard to avoid if someone camps a spot where people usually stay until low to minimize someone else looting, though now people can't fade and kill glorfindel anonoumously?(spells).
That is the one thing that should not be objected to in the change though as the glancing was not meant to work for that purpose
Nagash yes it does, i for one used to glance alot when at glorfindel, now that is useless cause you can't see the figure.
Right... but this log doesn't include anything that would be different before the change. Things would look exactly the same with fade. There is nothing novel here.
(Of course, this doesn't change the fact that this kill was well-executed. Still, I would really prefer to see the first one.)
*agree. Nice kill, though.
Fucking changes...
