Ok first off, there are 3 entrances to the pelennor fields, two of them blocked by battlepoints. Third is unblocked, unhindered entry for either side. So it's easier to get into than Mordor, where you have to learn a 5+ letter word each boot to get in free.

And who's the moron, the person who 'thinks' something, or the person who randomly invents that the other 'thinks' it? I never said once that MT should be as hard to conquer as BD. It's fine as it is now. But you can't on one hand say that BD should be thematically hard to get into and MT not. The great fortress of Gondor should not be taken lightly, just because there's no eyeball sitting at it's top.

I agree on that. No one would (or should) get it into his head to simply walk into the lair of Sauron.

Myrddin, you're a fucking moron if you think BD should be just as easy to conquer as MT.

And seriously, what's a BP to a pack of ERs? :)

Mordor has awesome eq whereas Pelennor doesn't have anything relatively good. Pelennor is disputed and sometimes even under evil control at some point of day, which never happens to Mordor... they are not the same at all.

Mordor, due to Pelennor can be blocked by BP.. Which Mordor can't.

Like I've said before, Mordor should be compared to the Pelennor fields, and BD to Minas Tirith. Now let's think - which of these is easier to get into?

mt er's cannot enter while it is dark anyway so why add even more trouble the few times they can get in, though it would kinda balance out how insanely hard bd tower is for non ers

Problem is, you don't go through the gates to get into Mordor. You have to go through that room to enter MT. So quit daydreaming and deal with the problem yourself.

Meh, I don't mind them being able to get in. Gimli and co. should autoattack maybe though (after a small delay to prevent major pwnage). After all, they're only there like 25% of the time. And Mordor gates Autoattack, therefore so should MT? :P

frs can enter mordor but get blocked by everything inside, ers can enter mt but get blocked by everything inside, sounds fair to me

Playability is going to win out over thematicity the majority of the time, bub.

And once again, big thanks go out go Gimli, Leg and the sons of Elrond for all their stopping orcs getting into the white city and stuff.

Even if they were useful, by the time one of their guildmates got to them, they'd have broken or died anyway :P Grim is right, they'd be better off just breaking instead of screaming at the outrage

I don't get why people don't learn to steer clear of that area when the warnings are out there. Before that happened, the IC comm was full of warnings about Kalimac and Adunazon. AND, if you know they are there, don't stop at the SP and look at someone...keep on your way without stopping...

*sigh* sorry Teion, that was a brutal death...

When will people learn that all those fancy triggers get you killed? By the time you get done begging for help on your guildcomm you could have already broke and escaped...
