i didn't have a bootknife, they were all in use as far as i could tell. the setup didn't work correctly, not going to say how, but it wasn't quite ready yet. if i had been, wormbaneii would have died :/
Immensly well-planned. If Tortuga had fit in a last shiv, W would be very dead right now. I'm fairly sure Wormbaneii is sleeping with Lady Luck on the side, but I can't substantiate that.
The setup was good. Jabba attacks on one side of the break, Kalimac attacks on the other side of the break, and Tortuga waits in the well for the ambush... if either of Jabba or Kalimac had managed to stay with him, this would have ended differently.
Hence Luck > Skill
