Yes, I would've gotten away without hamstring, we were just a few rooms away from Kadar, where I had an innroom. And Pounder, I used my healing when I killed Minalkali sometime earlier and forgot to took more :P oh well
Of course shiv is better than headbutt as a second skill when it is trained to 100, but when they're both trained to the same level, headbutt is much better (imo).
Good question is, why wouldnt bartoss have healing if he's going around solo'ing ers? Props for the solo try though.
I take shiv > headbutt as a maxxed sniffer, not as an other skilled fighter or what have you. Nice kill, and without hamstring Tortuga still could of easily soloed Bartoss, that ambush was gruesome :D

shiv does take ep if you miss. you can see in the log taking my ep.
What abilities? Backstab and headbutt (which still eats EP if you miss)? I daresay that's a far cry from hamstring + ambush and 200 non ep-eating shivs.
