A conversation between Lomar and Draugluin.
Bullshit, he never told me anything about this. I logged on and found a warning and went what the fucking hell. Read news and was pissed. SEnt off a mail and logged off. Came back that night and couldn't log on. Never once was i able to speak to draug as rekkless nor did he speak to me about this. The only thing i've talked to him about lately was declining mud population and ideas for improving the regional pvp system by using an uptime based scale of war.
Ok, now this makes sense: 'abusing one's triggers is illegal _if_ it takes over the other character, _or_ uses spamming to prevent the victim from doing something'.
It's a reasonable, clear rule. I'm just not happy with the fact that it was enacted beforehand.
That is: it's questionable whether a different implementation of an existing rule is a new one, but I would expect a post _before_ any action is taken.
On the other hand, Draug claims he warned Rekkless in private -- if this is true (and Draug has proven to be really trustworthy in this matter) and THE RULE WAS CLEAR ENOUGH (now this is questionable), the punishment was valid.
So, it boils down to the question: was Rekkless told about the rule in a reasonably clear way before the action?
That's different then, don't mind me.
the rule was added DUE TO my doing this, these actions were taken prior to my warning which was immediately when the news item was released
'There is news!'
Maybe he still feels that way, but as PoL he's required to enforce the new rule that was most likely added because of the rest of the admin? You can't say that this is Draugluin's doing, when he's said before that he didn't want the rule changed to what it is now, because it would give him that much more to do. I'm going to assume it was voted in by the other powers/overlords, and he's just doing his job.
