if your idea was that 'you move on through the pain' thing if more people are attacking a hamstrung person, then yeh it was petitioned a long while ago.
Eizan, bountyhunyters cannot ambush whilst in a party, in theory they're supposed to be solo attackers. Ambush command puts you into hiding, and then when your target comes along you instantly attack them and start hunting them (which means you don't know what shape they're in, and if they're camoouflaged or have darkness you're screwed), hamstring doesn't do any damage at all, it merely slows the target down, and I've already posited a solution to hamstring with multiple people attacking, to several people whp've said it's been a decent idea yet all have failed to petition it (I'm not going to, I don't do the whole petition thing and I rarely log on), meaning that we continually get badly thought out petitions to combat ambush on the petition list.
It appears as though they've changed the bountyhunters being unable to send tells to people whilst hiding though, which is nice.

Problem with that is that you can't hunt unless you ambush, which would make hamstring a bang only skill. Which was what we were trying to stop it from being.

You take an overhead swing and pound Fats into the ground!

how can you sneak up and hamstring a guy after you already ambushed and hit him? thats about 20 yards past overbalanced and just plain stupid, that's like backstabbing while already in combat. You should have to pick either ambush or hamstring for god's sake.
