There are so few breaks that actually work anymore, now that you can't Fade.
By the way, I knew about triggering for breaks...but I had hoped with the backstab of Icey + a potion...he wouldn't have time to break, or even drink that phial.

It is only natural that new assassins don't use anti-hb triggers (no offense intended), I can't remember the last time I triggered a break because whenever someone in the other side breaks you it will be a battlepoint anyways, and the FR vs FR logs are rare like this.
Remove fade.
Then you don't need to take a permit in Linhir and you can just trigger VICTIM todo hunt VICTIM,kill VICTIM to kill someone in Linhir.
But at least get a permit if you're going to kill someone in Linhir.

Yeah, potion + staff didnt do near as much as I wish it would have...I saw that crit from the NPC and stabbed...figured I would have gotten him right there *shrugs*
And as for triggering...I'm still learning...as you can tell from my headbutting, I am just trying to figure out how to keep up with ep, where I'm headed, etc :) Triggering will come I guess...
This was an OK kill. That backstab was exceedingly ugly, bad luck for you, coulda killed him with a phial in his hands after that sexy crit from the NPC... Why did you not trigger any huntbreaks though, he could of easily broken you in Linhir; guess your luck balanced out :D
By the way, to clarify, I was calling myself a noob, not Rasputin.
I'm pretty lucky when I had 38 EP left that the headbutt attempt failed...or I would have lost hunt. What a noob...
