It's pretty nice to know a few huntbreaks when the region is controlled by FRs and the innkeeper has been dead for the last 7 hours.

Wrong. You can pass him camoed and not be uncamoed or followed. You'll get uncamoed if you stay in the room with whoever you're in fight with, not if you alias past him, and even if you do, he won't follow.

Well, being one of those guys who hasn't attempted any HBs yet... You un-camo when you are already in combat right? So you can't really just break camo and leave. If that's correct, what the point of camo'ing...?

Well, with the regions (i.e. breaks every 40rooms or so) you don't really need a huntbreak. You can just travelto to the nearest BP and do n,s for example and escape. I haven't seen anyone use a huntbreak since the changes.

    Amen

Myrddin, you forgot about his quitting everytime us 'morals' trap him.

    Myrddin:

'Of course Exide doesn't need huntbreaks, he just sits in his garrison all day except to kill some lowbies or total noobs at low-traffic times of the day. And his client does most of that for him.'

    Hahaha, look who's talking :P

Btw. I think Morbid needs to learn just to not hunt people, he died in Kadar hunting Berzelius a while back.

Well..Pallasch, it's good that you have fun but these kids are making me laugh too:) 'I still haven't seen a good huntbreak...' I guess it's funny to be in Arda nowadays:)

I mean, the last time I dropped by in the mud (like an year ago, not so much time) huntbreaking was something more usual than the headbutt. Every n00b knew how to huntbreak. And from what I hear now there are...well, let's say players with a potential, who have no idea how to escape a hunt without running into a GH or somehting.

This whole thing is ridiculous:) Especially since the old HBs are still in (correct me if I'm wrong). You don't really need deception to survive and I'm glad the Ainur finally did something about that.

And well, I remember when I was a n00b and Westar taught me how to use the lightning as a HB. Not everybody knew it and it wasn't THAT long ago! There was some romance in this game when people didn't get all the scripts ready before they completed the lvl 5 quest...

This mud is changing so fast..I hope you guys have some of the romance back now. Because when I quit it had all gone away.

    Have fun:)

Balmung tells you: Masar > ER

The runes on the Fang glow brightly as you tower over your

vanquished foe. Facing imminent death, they cower in fear

    before your greatness!

    You killed Teror.

    Teror has died.

    Yay.

Forgot to say something in my previous post. If it comes down to it, I'd use what I could to break. I didn't mind dying (find it fun, sometimes) but if it can be avoided when I'm ND with no healing, I'll use a BP. :P

Because, Exley. I dont use huntbreaks, i havent since fade was removed. And i'm pretty sure i wont bother to learn any either. Works pretty well anyway... cant be relying on an alias can you? :P>>

Well, my friend, it's entirely up to you. Breaking people at battle points has no style, no flair. I'm sure people know about breaks *besides* BPs, but I've yet to see a log where someone demonstrates this knowledge, at least in ER lands. I remember once when Azmar attacked me in Kadar, I set off down the road towards the outpost. He no doubt thought I'd just break him at the caravans...but I wanted to have a little fun, so I set up a trigger mid travelto, then hit two short aliases and broke him at this place. He could have camoed and followed me, but his patrol found him and he decided to bail. Trust me: that was way more fun than going back and forth through the northgate at Kadar.

About reliability...wimpy off and your aliases work everytime, providing you start it where you mean to. Besides, BP guards aren't reliable at all...they can be killed, whereas three of the HBs near Kadar I'm thinking of work everytime, unless your assassin has his triggers in order. For me, when I play this game it's all about fun, and when I get attacked it's all about getting my adreneline pumping and trying to break/backhunt someone in the most stylish way possible. But...maybe that's just me. (BTW, me saying this excludes when I was a newbie and Grimscar, Shardik, and Azmar killed me. I didn't know WTF I was doing back then. :P)

Anyways, I'm sure Morbid and crew learned something from that backhunt, so it wasn't a totally wasted experience. Tell them I said hello, if you will.

You're right Exley, so why dont you do something about it? for example.. remove SRS?>>

Removing items, or decreasing their strength, is not the solution. If they are going to spend time in that area, they should learn it better. Morbid was lost; there's no denying that. So, I'll say this to you:

'I'm right, Exide, so why don't YOU do something about it? For example, help them learn the area and teach them hunt breaks.'

Actually Pallasch, if you read carefully you'll see that it's Morbid who got struck and down to DLSG, while Teror was still AVG cause he hasn't been struck.

I've got to be honest, it sucks seeing my former legion members die so pathetically...It's really not so hard to find your way to Osg bridge from where you guys ambushed them.

Anyways, nice trap. Over all a good log. I expect this type of quality from you from now on, Masar. ;P
