An hour or so before that first log, I got word that Azmodan was killing Elrond, so I figured I'd give him a shot. I end up fighting him in Mordor, but when he eaglesights off...I can't understand what the hell he's doing, and I end up breaking off the attempt. As it turns out, he didn't eaglesight off intentionally...his EP ran out. :P
