Crono gets Black Sword stolen from him at auction and thinks Dizm (the auctioner) stole it. So he wants revenge and tells the wrong person about his plans. So Crono and his wizardly friend Chap get set up by Dizm.

Oddly enough, Both Dizm and Malazin have already been killed-2 days after they backstabbed Naugrim in Barad dur.
